More info of the death of Jack"Nomad" Monroe. We see what has been happening in this man's mind and in his world, and it has not been a pleasant ride for Jack. Due to the drugs injected into him in the 1950's (when he was the second Bucky) Jack's immune system is rapidly degrading. He is told that the treatment for this will probably kill him before the symptoms do. Jack Monroe is dying. His mind is a twisted mess, due to this illness, and he sees what he believes is really happening. He thinks he is defeating enemies when he is defeating common civilians. He goes to a roadside bar...a dive really... and wallows in defeat and despair. When he goes outside to leave, he is confronted, slight words are exchanged, and.......we see just who the person is that shoots him. This issue brings together what transpired at the end of issue #3.
